Meeting Joanne is like finding a multi-faceted jewel. Here is my brief story. Some 15 years ago, suddenly widowed, I made an appointment to meet Joanne at the Good Shepherd Mind-Body Center, which she founded about that time. There were so many issues to resolve, and hurdles to overcome. In those early one-on-one meetings, I learned about relaxation and breathing techniques, which provide, to this day, an oasis of calm and peace within me. Over the years since, I have found her creative workshops and meditation classes to be excellent personal and spiritual growth resources. Joanne's deeply caring, sensitive and intuitive skills ensure that each massage session is unique and deeply relaxing and healing for not only the body, but also the mind and spirit. |
